Son of Georgij & Anastasia (Kochmarj) Brenzovics.
Born circa 1892 in the village of Vyska [R]/Viharos [H], Uzh [R]/Ung [H] County, Subcarpathian Rus', Austria-Hungary
(present day Ukraine); and died date unknown. Dmitrij was married, wife unknown at this time. They had two children.
Believe that Dmitrij is buried in the Fort Williams/Thunder Bay area of Ontario Canada.
Dmitrij originally immigrated to the Unites
States, exact date is not known. He settled in the Youngstown Ohio area with his brother Fedor "Frank" Brenzovics.
Sometime during the 1930's Dmitrij emigrated to Thunder Bay (Fort Williams) Canada. Dmitirj was also known as Metro
and was also called Dan. It appears that after Dan moved to Canada the spelling of Brenzovics changed to BRENZAVICH.
In my research I found Brenzavich's living in Thunder Bay Canada.
Based on documentation provided by Karen (Fletcher) Varian,
great-grandmother of Ansia "Anna" Brenzovics, Dmitrij (Metro) was the brother of Ansia. John Brenzovich son of Fedor
"Frank" Brenzovich has also provided some limited inforamtion regarding the relationship of Dmitrij (Dan) to his father in
a letter dated 10 Jul 1999. He stated his father "had a brother by the name Dan Brenzovich who lived
in Fort Williams, Ontario, Canada. I only met him once. Dan had two children, boy and girl."
