Son of Georgij and Anastasia (Kochmarj) Brenzovics.  Born sometime the early 1870's in or near the village of Vyska [R, U]/Viharo [H], Uzh [R]/Ung [H] County, Subcarpathian Rus', Austria-Hungary (present day Ukraine).  Little is known of Oleska at this time.  However, I was able to obtain a copy of a ship's index with the name Olexea Brenzovics on it.  I believe the Oleska and Olexea are probably the same person.  The following is a transcript of the index document.

Olexea Brenzovics arrived in New York on 8 Feb 1901 aboard the SS Trave. Olexea was 30 years of age in 1901, thus putting his birth year around 1871.  He listed his residence as the village of Kostona, correct spelling Kostryna [R]/Csontos [H] which is located in the nothern part of Uzh [R]/Ung [H] County, Austria-Hungary.  His place of birth is listed as Hungary, his race listed as Slovak, his nationality listed as Hungarian.  His was a laborer and he was married.  This was his first trip to the U.S. He had $9.00 in his pocket and he paid his own passage.  His destination was Scranton PA and he  was going to a friend Michael Fzcgepak(? name unreadable).
